Return to the Big Screen Cardi B to Star in The Movie “Assisted Living”

Cardi B in 2020 with great success, was named Woman of the Year by Billboard magazine and her song “WAP” received several recognitions, Cardi B began 2021 with a new achievement: her first leading role in the cinema with the comedy Assisted Living. Variety sources compare the humor of Assisted Living with that of other famous comedies such as Tootsie (1982), Sister Act (1992) or Mrs. Doubtfire (1993). This production will be supported by the Paramount studio and with a script signed by Kay Oyegun, who has worked on series such as This Is Us. For now, it has not been revealed who will direct a film for which no other cast names are known, apart from Cardi B.

The American artist of Dominican origin, who is also a star of social networks (she has 81 million followers on Instagram), has pending the premiere of F9, the ninth installment of the successful action saga Fast & Furious in which she escorts with a supporting role to actors such as Vin Diesel, Charlize Theron, Michelle Rodríguez, Helen Mirren or John Cena.
