T.A.C Raises $12.2 Million in Series A Round Led by Sixth Sense Ventures

India‘s first and fastest growing D2C omnichannel Ayurvedic lifestyle brand, has raised $12.2 million in its Series A funding round from India’s largest consumer VC fund, Sixth Sense Ventures, raised. Other participants included the actress Kajal Agarwal, well-known start-up founders and venture debt funds. The company was also featured in special episode 51 of Shark Tank India.

The brand has seen unprecedented growth over the past 10 months. It has grown by more than 300% with a strong omnichannel distribution channel leveraging retail and online channels. Starting with the MEA area with the start in Dubai, T.A.C has recently entered the worldwide markets.

Within a short period of time since establishment, T.A.C has attracted more than 2 million customers with the best-selling product ranges of Kumkumadi, Eladi and Methi and managed to raise funds even during the global funding winter. The funds will also be used for the “Digitalization of Ayurveda” with the “T.A.C App” to be released soon – through this revolutionary mobile application, users can get advice on Ayurvedic health care around the world.
