The Mondeo Station Wagon Becomes the Evos Crossover

Presumably under the name Ford Mondeo Evos, the popular middle class will celebrate its reincarnation in 2022. The series that was sold under the name Fusion in the USA and was last discontinued in summer 2020. In this country, the Mondeo is still running, but like the van group C-Max, S-Max and Galaxy, it is a discontinued model. In order to win more customers again, Ford will in future rely on a wide range of SUVs and a large number of electric cars. And this is where the officially unnamed Mondeo successor comes into play, which, according to leaked documents, will be presented in the USA in 2021 and will probably also come to us in Europe in 2022. This is likely to be a crossover based on the C2 platform on which the Ford Focus, Ford Kuga and Ford Bronco Sport are already based. Analogous to those series, petrol and diesel engines with a displacement of 1.5 to 2.5 liters and a power range of 120 to 245 hp, including hybrid drives, should be available for the Ford Mondeo Evos (2021).
