Turkey’s Largest Media Company “Doğan Media Group” Sold

Turkey’s largest media  group sold to Demirören Holding. Demirören makes  1.2 billion dollars deal for newspapers and television channels.

It is claimed  that the Demirören bought the Doğan Media Group, which also includes the Hürriyet, Fanatik, Posta newspapers, Kanal D and CNN Tük channels.

According to the agreement, the sales figure reached 1.2 billion dollars …

The sale of Doğan Media Group, the parent company of Hürriyet and Posta newspapers, and Kanal D and CNN Türk television channels, is yet to be confirmed by both, but Doğan Holding is expected to announce the sale shortly on Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).

A Demirören official, asking to remain anonymous, confirmed the deal to Reuters. The official did not give a price for the transaction, adding it would be officially announced later on Wednesday.
