Pirelli, two lists for board renewal: Jian Jiao in pole position for the presidency
Jian Jiao in pole position for the position of president of the automotive company founded in 1872. A total of 15 candidates will be evaluated at the meeting.
Pirelli announces that, in view of the meeting convened for July 31, two shortlists of candidates have been filed for the renewal of the board of directors.
Marco Polo International Italy Srl, also on behalf of Camfin SpA, with which it holds a total of 51.1% of the Pirelli capital, presented a list made up of 12 candidates, in which the name of Jian Jiao appears at the top for the position of president, followed by Marco Tronchetti Provera.
Added to this is the proposal for the shareholders of the assembly to fix the annual remuneration of the board at 2.5 million euros as a maximum ceiling. A group of asset management companies and institutional investors who are Pirelli shareholders with a 1.33% share of the capital, presented a list of three candidates: Roberto Diacetti, Paola Boromei and Giovanni Lo Storto.
