US Gas Storage Last Week +60 BCF
Weekly gas storage in the USA increased less than expected. According to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), a division of the US Department of Energy, gas storage in the week ending April 30, 2021, increased by 60 BCF (billion cubic feet).
The figure is revealed under the consensus (+64 BCF). The week before, there had been growth of 15 BCF.
Total inventories therefore reached 1,958 billion cubic feet, down 15% compared to a year ago (when they were 2,303) and 3% down on the average of the last five years (2,019 BCF) .
