Washington is Lifting the Ban on Chinese Flights

Chinese media said Saturday that despite the b war of words between Washington and Beijing, the United States of America decided to lift the ban on Chinese flights.

The newspaper “People” of China, that America lifted the ban on Chinese flights coming to American airports, before the expiry of the period in force until next June 16.

On June 4, China announced the opening of a number of airports to resume foreign flights, at the rate of one flight per week.

The Chinese authorities have closed airports to most foreign airlines, including American ones.

The Chinese authorities relaxed their preventive measures and with the decrease in the spread of the disease, including in the field of air transport.

The number of domestic passenger flights in China has begun to grow markedly as the economy recovers.

Due to Beijing’s relaxation of restrictions on American airlines, the Trump government canceled the order prohibiting Chinese commercial airline passengers from entering and leaving the United States on the 5th. However, the new order stipulates that Chinese airlines may not fly more than two flights per week to the United States.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China issued a statement 12 hours after the Trump government issued a ban on Chinese flights. It issued a statement to relax restrictions on foreign airlines flying to China, which means that Delta Airlines, United Airlines, American Airlines and other American airlines continue to fly. The green light for American flights, the Trump government therefore amended the regulations on the entry and exit of Chinese airlines on the 5th, allowing Chinese airline passengers to enter and leave the United States twice a week.

China’s latest adjustment is that, starting June 8, American airlines can choose a city with the ability to receive and operate an international passenger route once a week.

The US Federal Department of Transportation stated that the new measures will be introduced at a time when the tension between China and the United States is intensifying, in order to restore the balance of competition between the US and Chinese airlines in the scheduled passenger service market, as well as fair and equal opportunities.

The Federal Department of Transportation will allow two Chinese airline passenger flights per week to enter and exit the United States, which is half the number of Chinese flights allowed to enter the United States; Delta affirms the U.S. government’s approach to ensure fairness between the two countries. Aviation (United) said it is still evaluating the impact of the Trump administration’s latest regulations. Both airlines hope that there will be more flights between the United States and China.

Before the outbreak of the New Crona epidemic in January this year, there were more than 300 flights between the United States and China every week. To prevent the epidemic from spreading, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and United Airlines all suspended flights to China in mid-March.
