Zarif: Our Visit to Iraq “Constructive”

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Saturday his visit to Baghdad and his meetings with Iraqi political leaders had gained great importance for the two countries, calling them “constructive”.
Zarif published pictures on Twitter and wrote: “In Iraq … where constructive and objective meetings were held with the president, the prime minister, the speaker of the House of Representatives and the leadership of two parliamentary coalitions in this country.”

Zarif has recently toured Russia, Turkmenistan, India, Japan, China and Pakistan, amid growing tensions between Tehran and Washington and the escalation of tensions between the two sides.
