The Last of Us franchise director and creator Neil Druckmann is heavily involved in the live action adaptation of the game, working both as producer and director of the series being developed by HBO.

A list published by the Director’s Guild of Canada website confirmed Druckmann as one of the directors of the game’s adaptation. The information was even shared by Gabby Llanillo, one of the employees of Naughty Dog, the company behind the game’s production.

The main cast features Pascal (The Mandalorian) and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones) as protagonists Joel and Ellie, respectively, Gabriel Luna (Agents of SHIELD) as Tommy, Anna Torv (Frontiers) as Tess, and Merle Dandrige ( The Flight Attendant) as Marlene, the actress also played the character in games.
