AUTO Designed for people who commute to work alone in their car every day, the ElectraMeccanica Solo is an electric car … single-seater.

Presented at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, the ElectraMeccanica Solo is available in several versions, including a convertible and a Cargo version reserved for deliveries. The particularity of this car is that it is single-seater (perfect excuse to avoid carpooling with this colleague too fond of garlic sausage) and that it only has 3 wheels.

Its format is between the motorcycle and the conventional car, and it nevertheless offers all the safety and comfort of the latter: deformation zones, roll bar, air conditioning, Bluetooth, etc. Developing 41 kW (55 hp), its engine drives the rear wheel.

The ElectraMeccanica Solo is capable of reaching speeds of 130 km / h and has a range of 160 km. In the United States where it is produced, its price starts at 16,500 €. Its importation into Europe has not yet been discussed.
