As of 4:25 p.m. local time, the UK’s FTSE 100 was at 7,562 points, up 26 points or 0.35%; Germany’s DAX was at 15,693 points, up 73 points or 0.47%; France’s CAC 40 index was at 7,127 points, up 27 points Or 0.39%; Italy’s FTSE MIB index reported 27360 points, up 135 points or 0.5%.

Dow futures temporarily reported 35260 points, down 14 points.

Oil prices were soft, with New York crude oil futures now at $88.14 a barrel, down $0.06 or 0.07%; London Brent oil futures were at $89.07, down $0.09 or 0.1%.
