The new collection of Chanel combines the codes of the House with those of travel, the accessories echoing Venice, Byzantium or Athens, three destinations among those displayed in the hall of the station, theater Cruise 2019/20 show.

Minimalist, this black linen sheath dress hemmed CHANEL chain follows a pure line, whose effect is enhanced by a high white collar removable shirt. Rigid and geometric, accessorized with a double C pin in sequins, this neck stretches the silhouette in a black / white contrast.

Along the docks, the models advance shod with pointed pumps with conical heels. Two-colored, in the spirit of CHANEL’s iconic shoes, they reinvent themselves for the 2019/20 Cruise collection in red and black patent leather and are topped by a thin strap with a golden clasp.

For the Cruise 2019/20 collection, CHANEL explores the new possibilities of the tweed tailor, a timeless piece of the Maison, incarnation of the know-how of the workshops on the rue Cambon. With a high collar, broken or round, extended by a mini skirt or trapeze, the jacket comes in shades of white, enhanced with jewelery buttons and stripes that reproduce the CHANEL metal chain. The chiffon lining, embellished with a fine chain to ensure a perfect fall, is matched with the printed patterns of the tops, embroidered with flowers.

Claudia Schiffer, Lily-Rose Depp, Liu Wen, Nana Komatsu and Keira Knightley were among the guests at the parade. After discovering the collection, ambassadors and friends of the House extended the trip to the brewery Le Riviera, a stopover to Art Nouveau inspirations imagined by CHANEL in the Grand Palais.
