Year-to-date, total sales of electric cars in France are now close to 35,000 units, an increase of 50% compared to the first ten months of 2018.

The record of deliveries of plug-in hybrid models was due to the arrival of the PSA models, it is finally the diversification of the offer which explains the more than 2000 registrations realized last month.

Boosted by the arrival of its new version, the Porsche Cayenne wins at the top of the rankings with 300 units all round. The German premium SUV is ahead of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (267) and the Kia Niro rechargeable hybrid (170).

More generally, most models perform well in October. With 120 units sold, the Ioniq plug-in hybrid is twice as good as the previous month. Ditto for the new BMW 3 Series whose registrations increased by 40%, from 68 to 110 units over a month.

Side tricolor, we note the rise of the DS 7 Crossback e-tense. With 81 units sold, it is better than the 508 plug-in hybrid (40) whose deliveries should start to accelerate at the end of the year.

In the absence of alternatives in terms of supply, the months follow each other and are similar in the segment of electric utilities.

The electric Renault Kangoo accounts for 44% of the market with 302 registrations. It is followed by the Nissan e-NV200 (121) and the commercial version of the Peugeot e-208, with 54 copies.
