History Repeats Itself for Royal Family 65 Years Later
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recreate an old photo of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. Look!
A test the most recent appearance of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. While waiting for their first baby, the couple continues with their first real tour, and on Monday both went to the balcony of the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva, Fiji, from where they greeted royalty fans.
It was on that same balcony, in December 1953, that the famous grandmother of the prince and future father, Queen Elizabeth II, greeted the crowd with her husband Prince Philip. This time the couple attended a dance held in honor of the monarch, during her coronation tour, which lasted until 1954.
Similarly, the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex returned to the same place more than 60 years later during their first royal tour as newlyweds, and on their first day in Fiji.
