Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai is married and she is all set to embrace a new phase of life. The activist had got hitched to Asser in a small nikah ceremony at their hometown in Birmingham. Malala took to her social media account in sharing the good news that she is now a married woman!

Today marks a precious day in my life.
Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life. We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families. Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead.
