Carl Philip and Sofia from Sweden: Their eldest son Alexander is 7 years old and has grown well, a very cool photo revealed.

Contrary to what one might think, being a prince does not always mean being very elegantly dressed, at least not in Sweden. To celebrate his 7th birthday, Prince Alexander of Sweden, eldest son of Princess Sofia of Sweden and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden, sported a very casual outfit. On his Instagram account, this Wednesday, April 19, 2023, the royal couple wanted to celebrate the child as it should be. To do this, they posted a charming unpublished photo of the little boy.

“Today we celebrate our beloved Alexander who is 7 years old!”, Can we read in the caption of a photo of the young prince. Dressed in a turquoise polo shirt, light brown pants and a simple pair of sneakers, the little boy strikes a pose on his stomach while displaying a most delighted smile. His hair, which he has always worn long, is carefully slicked back for the occasion, probably in an original ponytail. Alexander Erik Hubertus Bertil Bernadotte, by his full name, bears the title of Duke of Sodermanland and is one of the grandsons of the current King of Sweden, Carl XVI Gustaf. His father is the ruler’s second child, implying that little Alexander is not meant to reign one day. He also occupies only the fifth place in the order of succession to the Swedish throne, just after his aunt Victoria, his cousins Estelle and Oscar and finally his father Carl-Philip. But since 2019, a major change has been pronounced by the King of Sweden himself. Indeed, the descendants not called to reign are no longer part of the royal house and thus enjoy greater freedom.
