The Approach of Ramadan Increases the Demand for Food Commodities in Saudi Arabia

Markets and shops in Saudi Arabia are witnessing a boom in the buying and selling movement, with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan for this year, amid the high demand for basic food commodities and necessities for the holy month.
And the Saudi Press Agency, “SPA”, monitored the commercial movement in the markets in the city of Najran, for a number of commodities that are in high demand during the month of Ramadan, such as dates, coffee, meat, and flour products, to be used in many Ramadan dishes that characterize the region, such as al-Raqash, al-Wafd, and tannour bread.
Goods and merchandise are widely available in the local markets, which contributed to opening the way for consumers to choose and buy, and prompted shops to announce the list of reduced prices in conjunction with the blessed month of Ramadan, and the increase in purchasing movement in the markets of food, utensils and household goods.
The “SPA” lens in the Najran region followed the movement in the commercial markets, the demand of shoppers for them, and the abundance of various food commodities.
