The Polish Stock Exchange closed with advances this Thursday; The earnings of the media, energy, and developer sectors pushed the indexes higher.

At the closing of Warsaw, the WIG30 rose 0.03%, to reach a new maximum of 6 months.

The best value of the session in the WIG30 was Lpp (WA: LPPP), with an increase of 3.42%, 285.00 points, to stand at 8.615.00 at the close. It is followed by OrangePL (WA: OPL), which advanced 2.75%, 0.15 points, to close at 5.60, and mBank SA (WA: MBK), which rose 2.58%, 11.80 points , until dismissing the session at 469.40.

The worst performers of the session were Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN SA (WA: PKN), which fell 5.08% or 5.78 points to trade at 107.97 at the close. CD Projekt SA (WA: CDR), on the other hand, cut 2.31%, 4.50 points, and closed at 190.15, while Kruk (WA: KRU) lost 2.25%, 3.90 points, until ending at 169.60.

The green numbers were imposed on the Reds on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by a difference of 246 versus 211, and 176 closed flat.

Crude oil futures for March delivery rose 1.10%, 0.58 to $ 53.20 a barrel. As for other commodities, brent oil futures for March delivery rose 0.18%, 0.11, to stay at $ 61.25 a barrel, while gold futures for February delivery retreated a 0.24%, 3.05, up to $ 1,280.95 a troy ounce.

The EUR / PLN rose 0.02%, to settle at 4.2876, while the USD / PLN, meanwhile, advanced 0.59% to 3.7891.

The dollar index rose 0.48% to 96,227.
