The Popular Viking Survival “Valheim” has Sold 6.8 Million Units
Publisher Coffee Stain Publishing reported through its parent company Embracer Group’s financial statements that the Viking survival game Valheim sold more than 6.8 million units.
This work is an open world viking survival game developed by a small development studio Iron Gate, inspired by games such as “Zelda” and “Skyrim”, with the motif of Norse mythology and Viking culture. The space-saving specification, which requires 1GB of space for installation, has also been a hot topic for a while.
Since the start of early access in February 2021, it has recorded sales of 6 million units in about a month and a half, and now it has sold more than 800,000 units. The Embracer Group also expects additional sales of 1 to 1.2 million units by the end of June.
