The Reopening of Disneyland Paris Postponed to April 2

Disneyland Paris, the leading private tourist destination in Europe, has postponed its reopening date to April 2, due to the continuing health crisis on the continent, according to a statement published Monday on its Twitter account.
“Given the current health situation in Europe, Disneyland Paris will not open on February 13 as previously announced,” said the amusement park.
“If conditions allow, we will reopen Disneyland Paris on April 2, 2021,” he said.

This date is however “likely to change” depending on the health context, warns the park.
After ceasing its activity between March 13 and July 15, Disneyland Paris, which employs 17,000 people, has been closed again since October 30.
Management does not plan to return to normal activity (equivalent to 2019) before 2022, a union source said in December.
Globally, the Disney group plans to cut 32,000 jobs in its amusement park-related activities by the end of the first half of 2021, including 28,000 in the United States, due to the impact of the epidemic.
