The Russian army has begun the purchase of modernized T90M Breakthrough-3 tanks, said Oleg Salyukov, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Ground Forces, in an interview with Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.
In total, in 2019, the Russian army receives 2,500 new models of military equipment. The upgraded T-90 was developed as part of a development effort. It is provided with a new digital fire control system that is configured to search for and destroy targets.
It was previously reported that the T-90 tanks should receive a climate control system.
