This is the USB-C Connection of the iPhone 15 Series

It’s no secret that Apple is working on connecting USB-C to the iPhone devices, this after the uncompromising demand of the European Union for a uniform charging standard, and despite the various rejections, it seems that this is going to happen already with the iPhone 15.

According to a post published on X (formerly Twitter), photos were revealed of what appear to be components from the production line of the iPhone 15 series, with each model having its own component – starting with the more expensive Pro Max model, the mid-range model iPhone 15 Plus and the entry-level iPhone 15 model that also shows slightly different.

In the first estimates it was previously claimed that Apple will not make the transition to USB-C before next year, but at least according to the latest update it seems that the company has been working on the change for some time and if things are indeed true it will happen as early as next month with the launch of the new series.

According to previous reports, iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will come with the older standard of USB 2.0 and charging up to 20 watts. In contrast, iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will come with the modern standard of USB 3.2 with a faster data rate and possibly a faster charging rate as well.

The manufacturers wishing to carry their logos on the new cables and accessories will be required to meet Apple‘s standards as part of the MFI program, but it is possible that the various products will finally be supported at the same time on the Android devices as well.
