Trump’un Eski Danışmanı Scaramucci, Hedge Fonuna Geri Döndü
Geçtiğimiz yıl Beyaz Saray iletişim direktörü olarak Trump yönetiminde sadece 10 gün görev almıştı. Scaramucci, Pazartesi günü yaptığı açıklamada şirketin ortak yönetici olarak SkyBridge Capital‘a geri döndüğünü söyledi.
Scaramucci’nin 2005 yılında kurduğu bir hedge fon ağı olan SkyBridge‘yi, Çinli konglomera HNA Group’a satmayı planladı fakat satışı Federal düzenleyici yetkilileri tarafından imzalanmadı.
Scaramucci, HNA anlaşmasının açıklandığı Ocak 2017’de SkyBridge’den istifa etmişti.
Ancak 15 aydan uzun bir süre sonra anlaşma, ABD’deki işletmelerin satışlarını ulusal güvenlik üzerindeki etkilerini tespit etmek için, yabancı kuruluşlara satışları değerlendiren, bir kurumlar arası hükümet komitesi olan, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri Yabancı Yatırım Komitesi’nden onay almayı başaramadı.
SkyBridge bildirisinde, “İşlemin ilk ilan edilmesinden ve onay sürecinin belirsiz zamanlamasından bu yana, önemli bir süre geçtiği göz önüne alındığında, taraflar işlemin peşinden koşmanın, kendi ticari çıkarlarına olmadığını belirledi.” Dedi.
Satış iptal edilmesine rağmen, iki şirket, HNA’nın SkyBridge’in hedge fon ürünlerini Çin’de dağıtacağı potansiyel bir pazarlama ilişkisini öngörüyor.
Yıllarca süren bir satın alma çılgınlığından sonra, HNA finansal baskıyı hafifletmek için milyarlarca dolarlık yabancı varlıkları boşaltarak rotasını tersine çevirdi. HNA geçtiğimiz günlerde Deutsche Bank’taki payını azalttığını ve Hilton Worldwide’da 6,5 milyar dolarlık hissesini devretmeyi planladığını açıkladı.
Scaramucci, Pazartesi günü yapılan yorum talebine yanıt vermedi.
