Making record profits in 2022, Turkiye Iş Bankası decided to pay a record dividend to its employees. The bank’s 23 thousand employees will receive 11.3 salary dividends on April 3.

Having increased its net profit to 61.6 billion TL in 2022 with an increase of 355 percent compared to the previous year, Türkiye İş Bankası decided to distribute a record dividend to its employees.

At the ordinary general assembly meeting of the bank held yesterday, the dividend to be distributed to the employees was determined as TL 3.1 billion. Last year, this figure was 360 million TL.

In the e-mail he sent to the employees yesterday, Işbank General Manager Hakan Aran stated that all employees will be paid 11.27 salary dividends.

Aran, in the e-mail, said, “Our bank has completed a very difficult year with extraordinary success and succeeded in adding the title of ‘bank with the highest market value’ to the titles of ‘biggest private bank’ and ‘most profitable bank‘. In the year this extraordinary success was achieved, our dividend rate was calculated as an extraordinary 11.27 salary.

The said dividend will be paid on April 3, 2023. On April 3, approximately 23 thousand employees of the bank will be paid 11.27 times their monthly bare salaries.
