U.S. businessman Elon Musk announced on Thursday that he will become the new CEO of Company X, the company that operates Twitter. Linda Yaccarino has announced that she will take over.

Musk said on Wednesday that he had found a new Twitter CEO, but did not name the new CEO

“I am delighted to welcome Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter,” Musk said on Twitter. Yaccarino said he would focus primarily on business operations, while he would focus on product design and new technology.

Yaccarino joined NBCU in 2011 after 15 years at Turner Entertainment. He has been recognized for his ability to transition his ad sales operations to digital enablement.
