acebook, kullanıcıların genel seçimlerde oy kullandıkları bilgisini arkadaşlarıyla paylaştığı “Oy veriyorum” butonunu uygulamaya açtı.
Facebook’un, ABD, İngiltere, İskoçya ve Hindistan ile Avrupa Birliği Parlamentosu’ndaki çeşitli seçimlerde uyguladığı “Oy veriyorum” özelliği, Türkiye’deki milletvekili genel seçimi için gece yarısından itibaren açıldı.
Uygulama, aktif olduğu ilk iki saat içinde 150 bin kişiye ulaştı. Sabah saatlerinde ise 600 binin üzerinde kişi, “oy veriyorum” butonuna tıkladı.
Facebook hesabı olan seçmenler, “Seçimler Bugün” ismiyle oluşturulan özel sayfada,Facebook logosu ve Türk bayrağından oluşan görselin yanında yer alan “Oy veriyorum” butonuna tıklayarak, hangi partiyi tercih ettikleri bilgisini girmeden, oy kullandıklarını arkadaşlarına duyurabiliyor.gulamada ayrıca, oy veren kullanıcıların kadın ya da erkek olduğu bilgisi ile hangi yaş grubunda olduğuna ilişkin istatistiksel bilgi de paylaşılıyor.
Facebook Avrupa, Ortadoğu ve Afrika Bölgesi Politikadan Sorumlu Uzmanı Elizabeth Linder, geçtiğimiz günlerde yaptığı açıklamada, söz konusu özelliğin, seçimlerde oy kullanımını teşvik amacıyla oluşturulduğunu belirterek, “(Oy veriyorum) butonunun, diğerlerini de sandığa gitmeye teşvik edeceğini umuyoruz” ifadelerine yer vermişti.
