Fed does not Raise Rates Unchanged at 0.25%

The Federal Reserve concluded its meeting on Wednesday, keeping rates unchanged at 0.25%, but with higher expectations for inflation in 2021 and 2022.

Central bank officials have signaled on their so-called “dot-plot” that there could be two rate hikes in 2023.

Powell also said the central bank is monitoring economic data and hasn’t made any decisions about ending its bond purchases.
