Germany, Turkey Agree to Work More Closely on Refugees

ppppGerman Chancellor Angela Merkel and Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu agreed to work more closely together to resolve the region’s biggest refugee crisis since World War II, the German government said.

A German-Turkish working group will lay out concrete measures the two governments will take to tackle the influx of refugees in the coming weeks, the German government said after the two leaders met for talks on the sidelines of a United Nations summit Saturday in New York.
The two leaders also discussed how to involve the Greek government in cooperation, Germany said.
