The rojillos had their chances, but Ter Stegen’s interventions prevented them from adding.

Barcelona took the three points from their visit to Pamplona (0-2) with goals from Jordi Alba and Ilaix Moriba, who made his debut as a striker with the Barça first team against Osasuna who came out strong, but the first goal changed the future of the duel.

Jagoba Arrasate warned at the press conference of the importance of pressure, something that his players launched as soon as the game started. Argentine Jonathan Calleri was about to surprise Ter Stegen with a shot from his own field, but the German recoiled to stop the ball comfortably.

Minutes later, the Blaugrana goalkeeper made a spectacular save with a changed hand to take a left-footed shot from Kike Barja from the front of the area that slipped through a squad.

Barcelona took over the game and in the 30th minute he scored the first goal. Leo Messi filtered a pass over the red defense and Jordi Alba controlled the ball and beat Sergio Herrera with a powerful shot.

Osasuna did not lose face to the match and kept trying without finding the goal prize. Rubén García missed another chance that could mean a draw for his team before the break.

The party slowed down and the Catalans began to carry out their possession game to tire the Arrasate pupils. Calleri missed a clear header that would have put the finishing touch to the great effort with which he tried to help his companions.

In minute 83, the young Ilaix, who replaced Busquets in 68, controlled the ball in the front of the area, made a cut and released a tremendous whip with his left foot that beat Herrera. The Barça sentenced with the first goal of his canterano with the first team.
