Russia Denied Mexican Businessman have Bought 2 Million Sputnik V Vaccines

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) denied that the Mexican businessman Alejandro Cossio, owner of the company Imhotep Asesores y Comercializantes, has acquired two million doses of the vaccine against the coronavirus Sputnik V.

According to Sputnik News, a Russian news agency dependent on that government, the RDIF, the body that finances the development of the Sputnik V vaccine, described the information provided to various media by the Mexican businessman as false in the sense that he acquired the rights exclusive to market in Mexico and Central America.

“The RDIF denies the information that the Mexican businessman Alejandro Cossio acquired two million doses of the Sputnik V vaccine and the exclusive rights to sell the drug in Mexico and Central America. This information has nothing to do with reality,” reported the background to the Russian media Sputnik.
