The Entire “Russia Affair” Exposed as A Fake
The so-called “Steele dossier”, which was supposed to prove Trump’s involvement with the Kremlin and Russian interference in the US elections in 2016, has been exposed as a forgery. The author of the dossier now incriminates Hillary Clinton heavily.
The Steele dossier, also known as the Trump-Russia dossier, which was supposed to prove the US president’s close personal ties with Russia and alleged Russian interference in the US presidential election in 2016, is also largely according to a report in the New York Times false and misleading. The dossier was prepared by former British agent Christopher Steele, who filled the document with false information in order to discredit Trump.
But the whole matter is even more dubious than previously thought. Steele had testified a few months ago how he had presented the “results” of his dossier to Deputy Foreign Minister Kathleen Kavalec.
He said his meeting was organized by state officials Jonathan Winer and Victoria Nuland after longtime Clinton adviser and friend Strobe Talbott contacted him, according to Just The News. Steele has previously testified in a London court that he has been tasked with laying a foundation for Hillary Clinton to challenge the 2016 presidential election results if Trump wins, according to Radio AM 870.
The US Senate Judiciary Committee has now determined that the dossier was a lie. The then FBI chief James Comey deliberately deceived the public and led them astray.
“It was a fake”
The Hoover Institution (HI) states in a report that the Steele dossier could not be considered at all because it was a forgery. “We now know that the Steele dossier is fake,” said the institution. “Second, and even more worrying, was that intelligence leaders were either grossly incompetent or were trying to discredit a new US president whose views they disagreed with,” the HI writes.
The Washington Post and the New York Times won Pulitzer Awards for their reporting against Trump based on the dossier, while the Wall Street Journalist Kim Strassel immediately uncovered the story of the lie, but went blank. When the CIA claimed in December 2016 that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election, Trump simply said, “These are the same people who said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.”
