Typing Error for Ferrari Roma

With its 620 hp V8, its two seats and its peak speed of 320 km / h, the Ferrari Roma is not, a priori, the kind of vehicle we imagine moving with. However, like all models on the market, the loads it is capable of accepting have been duly approved. Exceeding them can result in degraded behavior of the car and possibly cause an accident.

To precisely inform users about this data, it is indicated on the nameplate affixed to each car, usually in the engine compartment. But on the Maranello side, we have just noticed that this plate, specific to each car since the serial number is stamped on it, contained an error concerning the maximum permissible axle load. A typing error that concerns the Roma produced between January and July 2021.

Ferrari has therefore just launched the recall operation 77 in order to ask the happy owners of this racing car (we wish you to be one of them) to go without delay to their dealership, where a correct nameplate will be affixed in place of the original one.

In France, around 40 Roma are affected by this recall.
