The Vocational Training Council (VTC) and IBM are cooperating to promote digital skills training in Hong Kong. Students from the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) and Youth College can use the online digital learning and employment equipment platform IBM SkillsBuild for Job Seekers to learn the latest digital skills, such as artificial intelligence , Blockchain, cloud computing, data science, etc. Students who complete the course will be awarded a “digital badge” to facilitate future job search.

VTC Information Technology Academic Director Liang Xingbang and IBM Hong Kong General Manager Wong Kit-yee recently signed a cooperation agreement. VTC has become the first partner of the IBM SkillsBuild for Job Seekers digital training platform in Hong Kong. Students taking IVE and Youth College courses starting from this school year can use the platform to learn digital technology knowledge online.
