“Following the guidelines of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS), which established the obligation to screen Covid-19 before oncological treatments, as well as before any surgery, the contribution by ADSE was extended to beneficiaries who are in this situation, ”said Minister Alexandra Leitao’s office.
The same source also said that, as already stipulated, “asymptomatic pregnant women with contact with suspected or confirmed cases of covid-19 or with symptoms suggestive of that disease should also undergo the laboratory test”.
“This extension of the co-payment announced today, June 18, comes into effect immediately,” said the Ministry of Modernization of the State and Public Administration.
