Explosion Kills Two Turkish Soldiers in Syria
Two Turkish soldiers participating in Ankara’s ongoing Euphrates Shield operation against Islamic State (ISIS) in the Jarablus-Al-Rai border area were killed on Tuesday morning.
Turkey’s Dogan News Agency reported that two soldiers were wounded in an explosion. They were immediately brought to Gaziantep University hospital over the border in Turkey where they died shortly thereafter.
The two deaths brings the Turkish death toll of this operation, which began on August 24, to a total of 10.
