In addition to the image, a video posted on the channel shows one of the cars running on a highway in Sao Paulo. Larger than the previous generation, still sold in Brazil, the New Honda City was stretched, now measuring 4.55 m in length.

Honda is already testing the new City here in Brazil, at least that’s what shows the beautiful bust made by our reader @ ta2luciano.
The new generation of Honda City is one of the brand’s bets for this year 2021 and comes to try to arrange its space between Chevrolet Onix Plus and co.
Thanks for the images Luciano!
However, the wheelbase grew only 2 cm, reaching 2.62 m. In its seventh generation, the New Honda City came out of the European standard that limits its measurements, now being 1,748 m wide.
Already being made in Thailand, Malaysia, India and Vietnam, Honda’s compact sedan arrived with technology to impose its position in the segment below the Honda Civic, employing the brand’s most advanced hybrid technology.
The New Honda City Hybrid, or e: HEV, employs the 98 horsepower Atkinson L15 engine, as well as a 108 horsepower electric motor, reaching 150 horsepower combined.
This is much more than the 122 horses of the HSD 1.8 package from Toyota, used in Brazil in the Corolla Hybrid. Due to the New HR-V and the possibility of leaving the Honda Civic, it may favor the arrival of this version on board the City.
This would force Toyota to employ similar technology in the Yaris Sedan, as the Novo HR-V versus Corolla Cross will be an impending clash. If the Civic passes to the new generation, so can the Corolla.
Looking at it this way, if it were today, these hybrids could have prices around R $ 120 thousand for City / Yaris, R $ 150 thousand for Civic / Corolla and R $ 180 thousand for HR-V / Corolla Cross.
Anyway, the New Honda City can still employ the same current L15 Flex engine with modifications to reach 122 horsepower or even the P10 1.0 Turbo propeller of similar power, in addition to CVT.
