Burak Elmas became the 38th President of Galatasaray. Having entered the race with Metin Öztürk, Yiğit Şardan and Eşref Hamamcıoğlu, Elmas was elected the new president of the Yellow-Red Club, leaving behind 4 important rivals. While Eşref Hamamcıoğlu was ahead in the first 10 ballot boxes, Burak Elmas came first in the next polls. In the breathtaking race, Elmas received 1541 votes and Hamamcıoğlu received 1540 votes.
